چکیده
The present work is framed inside a broader activity aimed at improving the accuracy of numerical models in predicting crashworthiness behavior flexible fuel tanks. This paper describes comprehensive experimental and study estimating impact force test article, consisting soft nylon bag filled with water, subjected to crash tests. In order understand improve response predictions, article drops freely from different heights, then strikes onto rigid plate which instrumented types sensors. Strain gauges, piezoceramic sensors, fiber optics are used measure strain induced by during experiments. To tune matrix measurement chain parameters, computations carried out predict dynamics drop through FE explicit analyses. Through analysis comparison results, relationship between energy correlated height established, overall entire assessed determine effectiveness such methodology full-scale on tank structure.

Thermal Strain Analysis of Optic Fiber Sensors
An optical fiber sensor surface bonded onto a host structure and subjected to a temperature change is analytically studied in this work. The analysis is developed in order to assess the thermal behavior of an optical fiber sensor designed for measuring the strain in the host structure. For a surface bonded optical fiber sensor, the measuring sensitivity is strongly dependent on the bonding char...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
postnatal studies of bats (pipistrellus kuhlii and miniopterus schreibersii) & histomorphology and histochemistry studies of organs and diseases of (neurergus microspilotus and n. kaiseri)
1. to determine whether difference in birth body mass influenced growth performance in pipistrellus kuhlii we studied a total of 12 captive-born neonates. bats were assigned to two body mass groups: light birth body mass (lbw: 0.89 ± 0.05, n=8) and heavy birth body mass (hbw: 1.35 ± 0.08, n=4). heavier body mass at birth was associated with rapid postnatal growth (body mass and forearm length) ...
Fiber-Optic Chemical Sensors and Fiber-Optic Bio-Sensors
This review summarizes principles and current stage of development of fiber-optic chemical sensors (FOCS) and biosensors (FOBS). Fiber optic sensor (FOS) systems use the ability of optical fibers (OF) to guide the light in the spectral range from ultraviolet (UV) (180 nm) up to middle infrared (IR) (10 μm) and modulation of guided light by the parameters of the surrounding environment of the OF...
متن کاملTheoretical, numerical, and experimental analyses of free vibrations of glass fiber reinforced polymer plates with central cutouts and free boundaries
This study explored the free vibration problem in relation to glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) plates with central cutouts and free boundaries using theoretical, experimental, and numerical methods. The theoretical formulations were derived from the classical lamination plate theory. The rectangular cutout was mathematically modeled into the stiffness matrix of the plate by multiplying Hea...
